Philip Pontius assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at CES Power in May 2022 after previously serving as VP of Finance at EMS LINQ. Philip has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, both within finance departments for operating companies and in consulting roles with larger and midsize accounting firms.

His career began with Deloitte in the Atlanta office and has served in multiple consulting roles for accounting firms Grant Thornton and CBIZ, working with clients across the Southeast. After leaving the accounting industry, Philip has held multiple internal finance roles within private equity–owned portfolio companies.

Philip is a licensed CPA and received both his Bachelor’s degree and Masters of Accounting from the University of Alabama. His expertise is focused on areas such as budgeting and forecasting, operational finance, M&A due diligence, add-on integration project management, and banking and lending relationship management. 

Philip lives in Memphis, TN, with his wife and two children. Outside of work, Philip and his wife both enjoy spending time outdoors with their children and attending Crimson Tide sporting events.
