Sam Simmons is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for CES Power. Sam started his role in September 2022 after CES Power completed the acquisition of his startup Brickworks, a developer of smart mapping software for event management and site operation. 

Sam started his career in the international touring and festival industry, but has always held a passion for maps, design, technology, and architecture. Prior to joining CES Power, Sam developed venue maps and site design services for over 150 music festivals and live events.

This laid the foundation for over 2.4 million fans to attend concerts for the likes of the Foo Fighters, Blink-182, Metallica, Tim McGraw, Guns N’ Roses, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Originally from England, Sam currently lives in San Diego, California. Outside of work, Sam enjoys surfing, traveling, hiking, and going to Padres baseball games with his family at Petco Stadium.
